the nhmm

so yesterday when i was driving home from work, i notice that the car in front of me had a new hampshire license plate... of course i freak out because 1. that's a rare license plate to see in utah, and 2. that was where i served my mission. then it clicked... i came home from my mission 1 year ago yesterday... i'm not going to lie, i got a little teary eyed thinking about it. don't get me wrong, i'm completly happy with my life right now... and if i wouldn't have come home when i did, i wouldn't have met austin... and for that, i'm truly grateful. but i got to thinking about the mission and the time i had to be a missionary...

i can't even begin to explain the happiness i felt while being a missionary. being able to bring others to the true gospel of jesus christ was probably the most rewarding thing i've done in my life so far. not to say that it was the easiest thing ever, but it was so, so worth it. i met so many amazing people who have changed my life forever. i will always cherish those memories and the time i had in the new hampshire manchester mission. i'm so grateful for missionaries and the opportunity i had to serve the lord with all my heart... and most of all, i'm thankful for my membership in the church... it has blessed my life beyond belief.

1996 called...

they want their braces back.

yes... those are braces on my teeth. so i work at an orthodontist office now... cool huh? that's how i ended up with these bad boys. i'm a little ocd with my teeth... and way back when (it's been over 10 years since i first had braces) i first got my braces off, stupid me didn't wear my retainers like i should have. so, my bottom teeth have moved just a teence. i mentioned it to the orthodontist i work for and bam i had braces 2 hours later. yay! here's to the next few months...

thanks dr.webster!
